His humor was completely out of place for that show. Its so good he went on and found his niche.

Thanks, that was great. And I agree with the comments in another reply that his humor was way out of place at QVC -- selling a lamp by saying it's so hot it will fuse you fingers into a webbed appendage?!? -- but works great in Dirty Jobs.

Oh, my God. My mother used to watch QVC a lot in the early 90s, and I remember a host named Mike Rowe! *dies, dead fox* x.x
