I can't believe I'm saying this, but I really miss a good, heavy snowfall. Not any of these rinky-dink two-or-three inch jobs they usually get down here in North Carolina, but a park-the-car-curl-up-by-the-fire-with-some-hot-cocoa-and-stock-up-you-ain't-going-nowhere-for-a-few-days kind of snowfall. Looks like y'all in the Chicago area are getting one of those tonight and I'm jealous. Looks like the forecast is for 8-12 inches in the metro area, 6 to 12 inches in Milwaukee. Meanwhile, we're going to get...rain. Whee.
